Dev/nexus
DevNexus is one of the largest Java conferences in the United States, bringing together thousands of developers to discuss modern software architecture, cloud technologies, and the future of the Java ecosystem.
In 2026, I had the opportunity to speak at DevNexus for the first time, and it was also my first time delivering a full technical session in English. During the session, I presented a real-world architecture for real-time fraud detection, demonstrating how modern event-driven systems can process transactions and make decisions in milliseconds. The talk explored how technologies like Kafka Streams, Spring Boot, and MongoDB can be combined to build resilient systems capable of handling high-throughput data streams while maintaining low latency.
In addition to the technical talk, I also hosted a mentorship session during the conference focused on career growth in the developer ecosystem, speaking with developers interested in understanding the transition from software engineering to Developer Relations.
Presenting at DevNexus was an important milestone in my journey as a Developer Advocate and a great opportunity to share technical knowledge with the global Java community.
